Windowsreport.com, is an independent online publication founded in the Fall of 2012 and based in the UK, that covers Microsoft’s Windows platform along with its related products and services, all in the aim of contextualizing the wider implications of their development in the world of technology.
The editorial team behind Windowsreport.com constantly delivers relevant news, tips and advices to PC owners around the world.
The Challenge
Windows Report is a fast growing publishing company with an extremely high publishing rate of high quality content pieces that had a tremendous growth driven by the brilliant SEO intuitions of Radu Tyrsina, a young web entrepreneur who started blogging in the old days and was able to build one of the most well known outlets in the Microsoft ecosystem on organic traffic (they went from 0 to 2M organic visitors per month in the first year). When we met their growth had stalled and they needed a new means to keep on growing.
The Solution
The logical choice for Windowsreport.com was WordLift.
We started to build a linked graph for the magazine on data.windowsreport.com and we re- designed how content is organized by using the entity-based content model. WindowsReport.com, being among our WordLift VIP clients, is getting the full support from our team of experts that combines SEOs and developers from both WordLift and WooRank.
The Results
WordLift is a key part of Windows Report growth strategy, and it is being used to enrich every new article. On top of that, the structured data markup, as well as the on-going consultancy from WordLift and WooRank assisted in growing WR’s organic visibility by a surprising 61% in a period of 8 months! In terms of numbers this basically means that right now the magazine is receiving from Google a whopping increase of 1.312.250 users every month on top of what they had!
This is one of our best SEO case studies!
