Conversational search analyzes a string of words and replies with responses which resemble our natural language.<\/p>\n<p>Voice search is now integrated into many devices such as mobile phones, home assistants like <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/wordlift.io\/blog\/en\/entity\/amazon-echo\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0216\/entity\/amazon_echo\" >Amazon Echo<\/a> and <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/wordlift.io\/blog\/en\/entity\/google-home\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0216\/entity\/google_home\" >Google Home<\/a>, and cars which support Intelligent Agents.<\/p>\n<p>Today this technology has four main players:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Amazon<\/strong>, whose Alexa Voice Search uses Bing as a search engine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Apple<\/strong>, whose <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\"  href=\"https:\/\/wordlift.io\/blog\/en\/entity\/siri\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0216\/entity\/siri;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Siri\" >Siri<\/a> is now using Google, after a long time using\u00a0Bing as a search engine<\/li>\n<li><strong>Google<\/strong>, whose <a class=\"wl-entity-page-link\" title=\"OK Google\" href=\"https:\/\/wordlift.io\/blog\/en\/entity\/google-voice\/\" data-id=\"http:\/\/data.wordlift.io\/wl0216\/entity\/google_voice_search;http:\/\/dbpedia.org\/resource\/Google_Voice_Search;https:\/\/www.wikidata.org\/wiki\/Q2736257\" >Google Voice Search<\/a>, of course, relies\u00a0on its own algorithms<\/li>\n<li><strong>Windows<\/strong>, whose Cortona uses Bing &#8211; which is also owned by Microsoft &#8211; as a search engine.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/wordlift.io\/blog\/en\/voice-search-seo-2018\/\">Voice search<\/a> is a fast-growing technology which may change the way we use search engines and have an impact over their algorithms. In 2016, Google declared that 20% of mobile searches were conversational and according to ComScore, voice search will keep on growing, covering at least 50% of all searches by 2020.<\/p>\n<p>What users need when using voice search is a quick and actionable answer:\u00a0here is why, when it&#8217;s possible, intelligent agents try to give an immediate answer skipping the websites. The\u00a0bright side is that when your content is structured and\u00a0rich, your articles and pages may be displayed as the instant answers by Intelligent Agents giving\u00a0to you a boost in CTR.<\/p>\n<p>Moreover, voice searches are often longer and more contextualized than typed ones: with a keyboard, users try to be specific enough using as few words as possible, on the other hand, asking something to an intelligent agent users tend to indulge in details related to their context. The more specific your content connotation is, the more you can avoid ambiguity for search engines.\u00a0And since your data can be linked to trustable open datasets on the web, a huge amount of consistent occurrences validates your information.<\/p>\n<p>In other words, when you organize your content with Schema.org markup, you enable machines to read and contextualize it, serving your pages and articles to the right reader at the right moment.
